Here’s my style tile and layout for the first iteration of the game. I am spending less time in the “style” phase so I can get to some user testing and prototyping. The style is going to be more refined and have more attention to details and have themes for individual levels. I’ve been asking friends about how they would play a game where they adlib sounds. Prerecorded or play along with the game in real time? Next step in the prototype process: AfterEffects video. It’s working title is Rolling Riffs. I think it would be fun to use a musical instrument to come up with the sound effects.
