I firstly added some more little circles and a hand-drawn (with ink) stroke to help integrate the wave and drop.The contrast between the drop and the background was too different, for text to be really readable, so I added a hue/saturation layer in photoshop. Then I added the text in white. At first I wanted to play off of the stability in the drop. But after a few times and consulting the pages of Typographic Systems of Design: Kimberly Elam, I felt that the “Random” structure was for this poster.
